Using Bio-Clean in your home
About 1-year ago one of my customers asked me to install a toilet in her master bathroom, after I finished I asked her if she had any thing else and she mentioned that her tub drained slowly & her septic tank had to be cleaned yearly instead of the recommended every 4-years for her size tank. So.... I did what I do best, snaked out her tub drain line, and added some Bio-clean. I don't usually do this but I gave her a 2-month supply of the Bio-Clean because the house was 50+ years old & she had mentioned that her septic tank gets cleaned yearly which is way too often. No more than 2 weeks later she called me and was very excited; she explained that her tub continued to drain faster and she wanted to know if she could get more Bio-clean. Now, the reason I am telling you about this customer is because she called me back roughly 1-year later to tell me that she did not have to get her septic tank pumped this year as she has every year prior to the last. And I know it is because of the Bio-Clean.I have been using this product for 2-years and I love it; I give it to my close friends and family for their RV holding tanks (Just imagine the movie RV with Robin Williams, YUCK!), for their cat litter boxes (Yes it eliminates bacteria causing smells too), and for one of my commercial customers grease traps to cut cost down on getting is cleaned. But it never occurred to me to offer it to my customers to avoid needing me, I mean this is why you need me, but I realized that building your trust can last much longer than cleaning out your pipes.
 

How dose Bio-Clean work? There are millions and millions of bacteria in each spoonful. Each one will eat its weight of waste every 60 seconds. They double in number every 30 minutes, and as they multiply they will spread throughout the entire drain system.

Will it unclog my pipes? If the material is biodegradable, yes. However, in most cases, the stoppage is not caused by a blob of something in the trap. Most likely, it is several feet of pipe that is filled with "gunk", and it may take several days for the bacteria to eat through this long blockage. Therefore, it is suggested that a mechanical cable be used to restore the flow. Then begin BIO-CLEAN treatments to remove any remaining waste build-up. Regular maintenance treatments will prevent new build-up.

Will BIO-CLEAN attack tree roots? Only roots that are completely dead. Roots enter sewer pipes seeking the rich organic food supplied by the buildup As roots feed on the waste they grow, branch out and eventually restrict flow. Periodic use of enough BIO-CLEAN and water to reach the root area will eliminate the waste they seek. For existing living roots, I can snake out the line and, the use of BIO-CLEAN discourages root growth in sewers. In some cases (not all) you can avoid cutting down the problem tree.

Does BIO-CLEAN stop odors? Yes, by digesting the waste which is the source of odor.

Does BIO-CLEAN stop odors coming from a cat litter pan? Definitely. Best results can be obtained by washing and drying pan and then sprinkling the bottom with BIO-CLEAN before adding new litter and coating the top with BIO-CLEAN.
What is the shelf life of BIO-CLEAN ? Several years if kept dry at normal temperature.

Aren't chemical drain openers much stronger than BIO-CLEAN ? The strongest chemical in the world can't climb the side walls of horizontal pipes. Gravity makes all chemicals run along the bottom. Nor can chemicals remove much waste in vertical pipes because they flow through so quickly. The bacteria in BIO-CLEAN are live and will go anywhere there is food. They will remove the gunk chemicals leave behind.
